It's made in Argentina and sold in SA, Africa and Europe IIRC. They call it a mid, but it's on the plus side of mid. MPG is ~30 or around just under 700 miles per tank. I'd buy one if I could, but...

VWoA really seems to despise the NA market. No Scirocco, whole bunch of TDI options the Europeans see that we never will, no new Golf R (almost, but it finally is coming), and now this one isn't coming either
