Any idea what happened? It looks like oil spray on the engine with steam rising from it. Did an oil line let go?

I think it was one mini truck joke too many that did it.

It won't start now but the engine turns over. I can't find a hole anywhere that would explain all the oil. Maybe the head gasket let go? No clue at this point....

Just oil... The smoke is from the oil that was sprayed on the exhaust manifold. The radiator wasn't even gurgling when the engine temp spiked.

You didn't lose a 1FZ-FE. You gained the opportunity to put in a 1HD-T.



Amazing that it lost that much oil without any obvious hole for it to leak out.

Have you figured out what the problem was at this point? I am still confused on how the exhaust seemed to be sucking air when you were turning it over.

Exhaust was sucking air? Only way that happens is if the valves are stuck open or opening at the wrong time.
