Not toyota factory, but for future reference, High Angle Driveline has some good quality ujoints for both the double cardan (CV) and single sides. I've had great luck with their stuff:

Scratched it too :(

It's not like she is a cover model or anything.

Enough people gave me grief about my spicer double cardan, it has now been replaced with all Toyota thanks to Gary. 1999 First Gen Double Cab rear drive shaft shortened to fit the front of my 80.

Does it hold up better to abuse and water crossings? My double cardan front shaft (using Spicer parts) keeps needing to be rebuilt.

How do I already know the Toyota one is better?

Because it had 100,000 miles on it already and only the pinion u-joint can be replaced (part number 04371-60070). works like a champ with no vibrations.

Making some progress. I don't think stainless steel is supposed to rust like that...

There are different grades. I don't remember what grade they were advertising. At any rate it will rust on the surface with more iron contamination. It won't scale like carbon steel. It will rust more as it catalyze's. IMHO it looks like other ss exhausts out there that have hit the elements and aren't cleaned.
