Are these kind of threads allowed? I'm wondering if something in the area of 10k is reasonable for this 80? Especially with all the maintenance/mods and if I am including a RTT with it? The cruiser runs awesome. Starts every time and didn't have a single mechanical issue in 22k miles of South America. I don't really "wheel" this truck, just use it to get me to awesome places. About the hardest trail I have done is out to the Maze.

Basic Stuff:
-1997 Lexus LX450
-215k miles
-OEM Lockers
-Half worn Nitto TG's.
-Standard wear on the leather.

Maint:
-All new suspension bushings. All of them OEM toyota.
-Head gasket and all associated stuff done by Robbie
-New Radiator OEM brass
-New exhaust from the ypipe back. New cats. Mix of Borla and Magnaflow. Plus added a really nice resonator to quiet the sound down.
-New 02 sensors (Denso)
-New DS window regulator and whatnot, but its still slow.
-New-ish windshield.
-New Rear OEM toyota driveshaft.
-Steering box resealed by West Texas Offroad. No leaks.
-New TRE's.

Mods:
-4.88 gears. Sierra/Nitro, installed by Zuk.
-ARB front bumper with LED lights
-Superwinch EP9 with Synthetic line
-Custom rear swingout bumper (built by me...not the best construction but still works fine)
-Dual Sears DHP batteries with the super nice blue sea controller.
-Slee Dual battery washer bottle re locator with OEM second battery tray.
-50w solar panel with charge controller.
-Slee Tranny skid plate
-extended rear sway bar links
-OME 850/863 springs
-Fox 2.0 Remote Res shocks.
-Man a fre 2" drop brackets for front control arm caster correction.
-Aux fuseblock in engine bay for the aux lights and fridge hookup.
-Toyota OEM Front mud flaps so when you take off the running boards you have something to use with the sliders.

Extras:
-Howling Moon RTT 1.2 in great shape with 3 yakima bars for mounting.
-FSM
-Spare birf with ABS ring
-full set of brake pads
-full front axle rebuild kit with wheel bearings
-Ujoint for front axle.
-lots of other random trail spare parts.
-Slee rear spring spacers, not yet installed.

Needs:
-PS line is weeping a bit.
-Steering box has bit of play but not horrible for 215k miles.
-New gaskets from header to ypipe. Plus one of the mounts on the exhaust has broken off and needs a quick welding to fix.
-Minor cosmetic issues for a truck this old. Most of the paint is good except on the top where the old roof rack was.
-Wind shield wiper diverter valve need replacement.
-I removed the light out of the ring on the key column because I didn't want to fix the cabin relay.

Corey...I think you are really close on the price for all of the stuff you have done to the cruiser. The fact that the HG is done and it is locked and re geared, you have done everything that someone would have to spend a lot of money on. Let's say someone picks up a really clean 200k 80 without lockers. They will have to spend $2500 on HG, radiator, etc (if they don't do it themselves), $2500 on gears and lockers, dual battery system is a few hundred, RTT say $1000.

I'd say the price is right.

I agree, I'd start there or even a bit higher. Good 80's are still worth good money. You'll be selling to a more specific market demographic but I think you're in the ballpark for someone wanting an 80 ready to go.

Thanks guys! I think I'll start in that area and adjust either the price or what I include in the sale as needed. A bit hard to stomach the devaluation in mods but I knew that getting into it. Hopefully someone can get some more use out of the cruiser!
