LC250: Second row seat removal

Good morning. I am new to RS4WDC and attended my first meeting back on the 5th. This is lengthy…my apologies up front. Periodically I’m going to remove my 60% second row rear seat…mainly when overlanding or trips to Utah. A little research into the seat removal suggests using a plug-and-play SRS airbag emulator to “trick the electronics” (my words) out of the airbag fault codes. A company that manufactures and installs a plate system (seat delete they call it) indicates they’ve had no issues with warning lights.??? I had not planned on a permanent removal, only temporary. Any suggestions or experience from anyone?

I imagine the seat delete is just temporary, unplug it and swap the sears back in? Unless you're cutting wires or reprogramming the software it should in swappable. Now how easy or quick depends on the product, why not drop a link to the seat delete?

Thanks Adam. The 'Seat Delete' is a feature of Goose Gear. Since they manf the product/plates, I was sure they had a solution. They referenced outfitting 3-LC250s and had no issues. Sooo, removing the seat(s) is not an issue; the seatbelt/airbag warning light stays illuminated. I'm OK with that. What I don't want is the AUDIO on the entire time, even for the approx 2min after starting the vehicle. I have a call into Toyota for that question. Nothings ever straight forward.
