Got some more stuff added. Turn signals, and marker lights all working. Had to run new wires before it went in for the line-x, so it was good to have everything working. Still haven't hooked up the tail lights, had to sand down the red frame in the back, and get it black. I can start working on getting that hooked up this week. Got the apron badges cleaned up, and painted.
Passenger side windshield hinge bolts are seized, so got the Blaster on them, and will apply some pressure tomorrow. Once that is off, I can install the other side mirror.
As stuff went on the 40, the more alive it's starting to look

I agree, one of the classic colors for the 40's. That and the mint green on the old 45's, awesome Kurt, you should be so proud.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with the way it has come together.
On to some last details...which includes trying to get the blinkers to work. I get the left, but not the right. I've checked the switch, and it's bad. Timmbuck2 is checking if he has one, anyone else have one in case he doesn't?

Well, well....Looks like this thread is pretty much wrapped up...The Cruiser was delivered to my brother-in-law this Saturday. The last time he saw it before this was probably last June...
He had no idea it was even driveable. It was pretty cool watching him come out to see it as it is now. My Brother is not one to be lost for words...He was pretty much speechless this time.
On to some pictures...had to remove the top, and lean the windshield forward to install the dash after we put on a cover. Dash was removed at paint...Jump seats, rollbar, front seat install made easier with the cap off as well.
