My mom knows shorthand. She used to leave Xmas shopping lists out in the open just to tease us. 😁we learned cursive so we can write messages the kids won't understand.....

That's like $100 worth of frickin eggs!
no kidding...i'm looking for a new daily driver now...everything is overloaded with 800 airbags, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, blind spot collision avoidance system, rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exit assist, ultrasonic rear occupant alert, drive attention warning, parking assist...not to mention apple car play, android auto, siriusxm, etc. i want a manual transmission, manual cloth seats, manual windows. with bluetooth and remote startThe whole your will own nothing and be happy plus government trying to monitor you with your vehicle plus not being able to easily repair them with all the electronics thing is exactly why I ditched my 17 Nissan Rogue for the 98 4runner. Also though I did really want a 4x4.
No joke, I think the most sophisticated piece of electronics in my whole truck is the Alpine BT radio (and I guess the phone it's connecting to lol). Other than that it's basically just the ECU, the 4x4 computer, ABS (which is randomly spitting the light at me after finishing my axle seal job ><), cruise control and electronic windows/locks. Even the tcase is mechanically controlled and the ADD is vacuum controlled. And it seems like it's usually not terribly hard if one of those components goes out to just replace it at a pick n pull with something that is literally a plug and a few screws. Every job on it so far has been turning a wrench except one which was patching up some shoddy wire splices on ditch lights from a PO. And most thankfully I don't have to worry about that stupid federal mandate that in 4 years all vehicles have to be able to "detect" impaired driving and shut down, pretty sure that's just going to entail manufacturers putting interlocks in as that's probably the cheapest way to comply with the law lol.no kidding...i'm looking for a new daily driver now...everything is overloaded with 800 airbags, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, blind spot collision avoidance system, rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exit assist, ultrasonic rear occupant alert, drive attention warning, parking assist...not to mention apple car play, android auto, siriusxm, etc. i want a manual transmission, manual cloth seats, manual windows. with bluetooth and remote start
Obviously high capacity too, nobody really needs more than one oven rack right?
