Sure do, found this one!

One of the striking things in this (as well as others) pic is how green the vegetation was this year compared to other years. It is a deep green, suggesting plenty of moisture to date.

Yet we had (arguably) the best weather for a Cruise Moab ever. No rain, no snow, the temps were above freezing and below eighties for the most part. And While we have had other Cruise Moabs with the above conditions, they were typically accompanied by gale force winds.

Not so this year, we had a couple of little squalls that lasted at most a couple of minutes.

While the the cotton was in full bloom, the caterpillars were really minimal. The cottonwoods in Slickrock are both a blessing and a curse. Sure, the cotton itself ranges from annoying to deal breaker depending on your tolerance for it, but the shade is the reason they are there.

I agree with Tom that the back row parties weren't as big as year's past, but then again, I didn't get any complaints about them as I have every year for many years.

For the record, we didn't fill up, we were around 20-30 short depending on how you define it. But that's fine, I think we had another good event and most went home happy. And that's really all I care about.

:thumb: I had a mouse run out of my tent when I set it up to clean Sunday night. Then I used my leaf blower on the cotton.

Agreed

Must keep thread alive...

Come on peeps I know you have more to contribute to this tread.

Shawn you were certainly missed this year, Maybe next year we could organize some sort of 60s only run. If others can be elitist Toyota snobs, so can we.

Any ways back to pics, Here are a couple from my solo run out to Chicken Corners on Wednesday.

I don't have a lot of great action shots. Here are few from Dome Plateau on Saturday. Including the obligatory shot of Gary's 60. :)

Thanks Dan!

That was a fun trip! Still going trough Pics and Vids. I think my gopro batteries were pretty much exhausted by the time Saturday came around.

Here are a couple from Thursdays Poison Spider Run.

Cm2015 Pretty upset that I messed this shot up. If it wasn't out of focus, it would have been a good one.

No reason to be upset. (yeah, I've done the same)

If you really want that shot in focus, sounds like an excuse to go back and try it again! :)

I was able to get some fantastic ones that will be published in a few different places. (Can't show those yet)

I only took one shot of this particular angle with the CM2015 written though. I thought it looked fine on the LCD until I got home. That spot has been photographed so many times from the same spot, same angle, that I was trying to do something a little different.
