As many of you already know Landcruiser windshields can be much harder to properly replace compared to the average vehicle shops work on.
The 100 Series has its special rivets molding and gasket, the 80 needs a proper weatherstrip and glue. It doesn't seem like a serious job until you hear about people taking off their windshield to find rust and a prior hack job which makes the next replacement quoted at $1000+ due to the extra work required to get the vehicle correct again.
Lets hear it if you have any shop or installer recommendations. Below is info I could pull from other threads.

Abra / Caliber Collison
- Boulder people swear by Abra for their LC glass needs. It seems that since Abra was bought by Caliber Collison which makes me weary. They used to know how to properly take care of these vehicles with OEM parts, but I would be curious about how they are now after 5ish years of being bought out by a huge corporation. Any one use one of these shops recently?

Safelite
- Millions of happy customers, hundreds of thousands of complaints. I wouldn't expect a Safelite tech to be a LC expert, but I have heard of people in other states asking their Lexus/Toyota dealer and being directed to a Safelite with a veteran installer who is an expert. I personally have had problems with the service at Safelite, but never any installation complaints.

http://www.bluecrushautoglass.com/ They will get you done right, at home and cheaper than Safelite. Safelite refused to work on mine because of a small amount of rust (probably caused by shops like safelite not priming scratches in the paint that happen when removing the old glass). He came out, assessed my situation and determined that my rust was pretty darn minor, primed over it and slapped a new windshield on. Install was perfect, no leaks or anything in the few months I've had it. Really friendly guy too who was more than happy to have me shadow and learn what he was doing.

Yes, I'm the jerk who will say it: yay, another windshield thread! Please, search and use the old threads.

But @Philipg proved me wrong and 600ish posts later. (y)

I'll be going back to Cornerstone next time I need it done. Cornerstone did my 100 with the correct, rivets, molding, gasket and got State Farm to pay for OE glass!

I would stay away from safelite. I went there and after two replacements and a repainted hood I found an old guy at a body shop who did it right.

I did go back to Cornerstone Auto Glass. Yes it was a 40 minute drive from Denver to Conifer so they could do it in their shop. Couch in the waiting area worked just fine.
Again the correct rivets, molding, gasket and got State Farm to pay for OE glass!

Bonus: there is now a great Taco Truck next to Toy Auto Care, former site of Joe Calleja's CTS
