Completely understandable.

But it's a Land Cruiser not a Ferrari. It's supposed to have a few dents and pinstripes! That's what makes a truck into your truck.

First item upon return to our garage will be interior sound deadening. I expect that will take time with only an hr or so to devote each evening. The aussie abs door cards look pretty slick in black. The Orikawa guy will do them in custom colors.

I think it was only a week or two after I had mine painted, before I got the 4x4 Labs rear bumper, I slid sideways into the end of a fallen tree on Jenny Creek Trail and crunched the rear quarter panel. I took it to 3 different body shops and got 3 different no bids. So I cut the crumpled section out, found a chunk of firewood with about the right radius and pounded if more or less back with a rubber mallet. Then welded it back in, bondo, sand, repeat until it was pretty darn close to original. Got it painted and you can't tell it happened. But yeah, got the 4x4 Labs pronto after that!

I did not realize they did color matched raptor liner on the rocker panels. Nice surprise! Jason really is an artist.

I decided to stick with paint on the bumper. I have never had good long term experience with powder coat.
