I just got a call from Harrison at Groove Toyota, my new 250 is at the rail head in north Denver and should show up at the dealership tomorrow or next day!
Awesome Jeff!! You’re going to love it. Congrats

Thanks Jackson! I told my wife yesterday that I won't have to carry tools and spares in this one LOL!
It’s always weird feeling going from old trucks to brand new trucks. The lack of noises and ability to control the vehicle with one hand makes me feel way too relaxed haha.

I absolutely LOVE it and so does my wife. Her ride is a 2021 RAV4, so the tech is similar. I already have almost 50 miles on it now, none off road. The Yokohama tires are totally on-road tires. The off the line acceleration is snap-your-head-back electric motor. It is even quieter than my wife's RAV, and the suspension is super-well tuned. The brakes are funny, there are two levels, one when you are just slowing down, and then again a little more braking just before you come to a stop. I'd speculate (also from reading the owner's manual) that initially it is regenerative braking and then that last little bit is the pads squeezing the rotors. I'm sure it is all software controlled.

I just got done programming one of the buttons on the rear view mirror to operate the garage door. Her car does that too.

As I mentioned above, the tires on it are street tires, not even all-season. At 245/70R18, that works out to about 31.5x9.6.

How times change, eh Jeff? When those FJ60s and mini trucks were delivered in the 80s they probably had Dunlop Snow Cruisers in H78-15 or 225/75R15. Something like 28.5" x 9" in size on a pretty aggressive tire that could be studded. If I'm not mistaken @KC Masterpiece may even still have the original 1991 one under Imelda.

When I first got my 1971 FJ40 in 1998, it had Dunlop snow tires that looked a lot like the pictures from the ads Toyota ran back in the '70s. They were 7.00 x 15 tube-type on stock Toyota rims with stock hubcaps. They looked like they had fairly aggressive tread, but boy were they scary on the ice and snow! I replaced them with Firestone Town and Country 235/75R15 snow tires before that first winter was out, pairing those with white spoker 7 x 15 rims. Subsequent to that I went to siped 31 x 10.50 x 15 BFG M/Ts, and then siped 33 x 10.50 BFG M/Ts. I don't like the new BFG M/Ts and you can't get them siped any more anyway so I am running Toyo Open Country 33 x 10.50 M/Ts, which have factory siping molded in.

When I got my 1978 FJ45 in 2004, it also had Dunlop tube-type tires, these were 7.50 x 16 on factory split rims. I measured these at 32" diameter! Like the ones on the '71, they were miserable in the snow and I quickly switched to siped 33 x 10.50 BFG M/Ts on 8 x 15 American Racing white spokers. I am on Open Countrys on that rig now too.

Out of all the different tires I've had on my different Land Cruisers, I liked my Duratracs the best. They did great in the snow and were relatively quiet on the highway. I know they have a reputation for having weak sidewalls, but I never had a problem. I've torn sidewalls on two BFG M/Ts.

First one I’ve seen in the wild, Groove Toyota, yesterday. @Rzeppa you got the superior color.

Agreed. When I was down there picking mine up on Thursday, they had that white one, a second meteor shower and a trail dust first edition.
