i'll get it all set up early next week and show you what that clip is. I think Adam is missing the clip also, maybe I should try to make a few.

The first photo in this thread shows the routing near the top anyways.... nearer the bottom it goes on a metal flexible body clip thing on the big rib coming out of the firewall. The routing keeps it far from the exhaust.

I also just realized it showed the brake and clutch line routing :/

I'm trying to make a few little master cylinder clips out of nylon on our little machine at work, if it works y'all can have a few. Nylon is notoriously difficult on the machine though so we shall see. There are a few other material options but nylon seemed appropriate and I have plenty in black.

Make them out of delrin. Put some decent radii in the corners.

I'm not sure I can print in Delrin with our little machine.. here's what they offer:

We have a few Stratasys Connex machines but they do a photo-curable polymer, maybe one of those would be good enough but I kinda don't think so. IT gets hot under the hood.

I got the brake and clutch master cylinders in this evening. Front brakes bled but the rears are being a pain. I almost had a panic attack when the clutch started leaking at the slave. I forgot to tighten that line and thankfully the cosmoline I sprayed down there kept the paint from dissolving before I could wash it off. Phew.

I forgot to get the pedals and shifters powder coated. Back to the coaters we go. Photo so I know kinda how the small parts went. Also I found a nicer intake horn in my stash so that'll go out as well. Mine was pick marked with rust and didn't look real nice.

Yeah you're right Bruce... the Nylon seems pretty flexy. At least the model is close... I'll try one of their other materials.

Just about done, Marco? If you are ready for another project, I'll bring my '83 over and we can knock it out in about a week or ten! You really have been inspirational for some of us laggards and I can't wait to see the Green Machine up close and personal. I'll have to bring a notebook and a camera to record what you have done.

Ok door latch work started.

Step one insert latch assembly. Step two handle. Step three lock (silver on right side). Step four lock lever pivot assembly.

This is how the lock lever assembly fits. Both rods go to the bottom with the pivot up top. Short rod to lock. Long rod to the latch.

Then lastly the bracket with the felt for the back of the door. The bottom bolt had enough adjustment in it to get the bracket away from the handle linkage.
