Heh, after doing the rear suspension on the 60 on Sunday I was whipped too. Sucks getting old. I had a whole bunch of muscles I had forgotten existed. I'm better today though. Trying to figure out when to do the fronts.

MUCHO thanks to Zach for coming over and helping!

Other than having to cut the U-Bolts off with a sawzall, pretty much everything was typical PITA suspension work. Had to burn/melt off the bushings of course. The main gotcha was accidently cutting through the LR brake line with the sawzall.

Fortunately, I had save the still-serviceable brake lines off my 1976 FJ40 project when I had replaced those with new, and found one that would work fine on the 60.

Replaced the "horn plate" PN 84312-12040. List price $9.25. Its a pin, so no idea why they call it a "plate." As you can see, it was well worn. It wears every time the wheel is turned (I did not wear it out honking), so not bad for 21 years old and 262,000 miles.

Shiny is the new one.

Now I need to find someone to honk at!

Installed 1-1/4" wheel spacers on the front of my truck. So now I can go for Tundra brakes and also be able to put snow chains on the front now.

Not my rig, but put a new starter in a 98 4runner Auto. Had to disassemble the passenger front suspension to get the damn thing out. The spur gear had completely disintegrated.

Not exactly any work done on the cruiser, but a tool for the cruiser.
Tube notcher. JMR rip off. All built out of h900 17-4 stainless and 60rc A2 tool steel. Still need to finish the v block, laser mark the degree scale, finish the pivot bolt, final heat treat and then to the surface grinder.
