I was thinking the same thing, Steve. All the things I found on line pointed towards dry-rot of the airbags...$200+ each side, or $1200 for a pump, parts cost...I was super happy it was such an easy fix.

I got a new exhaust installed in the 40. Went to Castillo Muffler just south of Colfax on Florence street in Aurora. Nice work done while I waited, as they are a first come, first served operation. Great price on the work too...

Did they have a mandrel there? I want to get the last section of my borla to exit out of the side like the factory exhaust. I have yet to find a place to bend and cut the section.

I’m not sure what you mean by mandrel. If you’re asking if they can bend tubing custom, then yes, they do that. Like I mentioned, they don’t set appointments but they will assess the job and quote price right there. They start work right away and are quick at completion

Went to town with the polisher today. I had to work, and it was warm and cloudy...perfect day to wax it up!

Looks very nice Barry! I need to figure out what I'm going to do about my green 80 hood. So far the shine has come back with some polishing compound, but I'm sure at some point I'm going to burn through the clear/color!

Me, I finally got the M12000 mounted in the 80 bumper. Have to fab a spacer for the solenoid pack, and then figure out the battery cable connections, but at least some progress has been made. I'm going to need some new front springs to handle the weight though.

Redid the passenger leather on my GX, lost time with a sick kid...still took about 3 hours. You'd think I'd be better after 4 previous trucks.

Also got the Tesla screen kit in from Android radio... this thing will kick booty when it's in!

That's exactly what I'm looking for! I will check them out.

If you are looking for a custom mandrel bent system then that may be something more specific. Thats where the tubing diameter stays consistent through the bend.

OK...gotcha...my bends weren't done with a mandrel then, they pinch down a little on the inside curve of the bend...

Last night I went and crawled under it (the 40). Checked my rear brake adjusters to make sure they weren't frozen up. Contemplated several pending projects. Took a hard look at the rust and was pleased to see that apart from my front doors and fenders and a small portion of my rear sill I wasn't seeing any rot anywhere, or anything close to rot.

So you know, progress ;)

I put a new voltage regulator in the 40. Got a solid state VR from ebay, the gauge needle is much more stable now, and I had a surging idle when the engine was nice and warmed up. Sasha stated his warm idle problem corrected when he changed out his VR, hoping this will do the same for me.

Got some tailgate stickers and side marker lights installed on the 45.

Finished the Slee 4" kit a couple weekends ago. I decided on heavy springs and desperately needed to finish building the 4x4 Labs rear bumper. So, that's finally done.

Threw on a 6.5 x 8.5 ARB awning today. Thanks for all of the help, Slee!

In the last week I installed a roof rack, solar panel, CB, interior LED's, and got new tires. Almost forgot how fun Cruise Moab season is...
