Demello sliders. Still need to make a few tweaks down at the tail end near the rear fender flares. They feel a little too close for comfort. Once that's done, I'll weld them on to the bottom of the frame rails to make them fully weight bearing.

Front half (front, engine and transmission) of the BudBuilts are in as well. The larger 38 gallon fuel tank option seems to have thrown a few folks off on their parts design. Bud has been super accommodating. Transfer case and tank skid will be going back to him for replacement and he'll send me new ones back in a couple of weeks.

Tail lights were not working correctly on my 40
Hit the brakes and the running lights would light up
Reverse on one side worked
Blinkers on the other side worked
Time with the voltage meter and some good grounds and we are set

Nice! I love the close out pricing, can’t beat them for the money right now. I kind of want to try the exp, but feeling a little weary about them.

Yep, I could not believe the price. The controller is also the best I've seen and used. Thanks again Bill Berke for showing me the way.. :thumb:

Got some 37s used. They are 17s though and my deadlocks now are 15s. Debating if the little extra tire is worth building new beadlocks...thoughts?

Some Brackets For Storage

Traded an old O-scope to Dave for some custom brackets for my 80’s rear storage setup.

I have a set of weld on beadlock rings for 17’s. Had them for a while, forgot who the maker was. PM me if your interested. Im pretty sure I have the bolt kits also.

I think your 40 would look more proportional with the 37s. With the wider axles the taller tires will balance the overall look. I personally would go for it! :thumb:

Yesterday I finally repaired my 2nd battery tray... bolt had pulled out from the firewall. Drilled it out and installed a rivnut, now that's a M8 instead of M6.

I owe a debt to the 4th & 5th gen 4Runners for this, if it weren't for their lack of roof rack attachment points I likely wouldn't have purchased this tool..

GX470 rear airbag swap

Replaced both air bags in the GX470 yesterday in an hour flat. Half that time was spent getting the truck up on stands and the spare out of the way. Super easy!
