I know this is SUPER early but we're only 500 days out from this event. On August 21st, 2017 there will be a total solar eclipse passing directly over the continental USA and only a few hours north of metro Denver. I am planning to drive up to watch it. Plans will necessarily be loose until the three day weather forecast happens as the event actually arrives.

The eclipse path goes right over Nebraska, Wyoming, Idaho, and Oregon. There have to be a few good dirt roads where a group of us could go to watch.
