Nice looking black LX with lockers and low miles. $8900

http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3638422483.html

Not black, green. Low miles sure, but body damage on most of the panels, the fuse box and third row seat brackets are rusty, and in general, the interior is trashed. Lockers do engage though....and he's flexible on that price. But holy cow, I wouldn't do it unless he went way down. Dude has owned it for maybe a month and already selling it....hmmmm....

And this is thread reply 1001! woohoo!

I actually looked into buying it and ran a carfax on it. It has a total loss on the record and according to Farmers Insurance they won't insure it. Thought I would share. I believe I still have a copy of the carfax if anyone is interested.

That doesn't surprise me. It's old, and the rear driver door was replaced. The rest of the panels had matching numbers, but you know, when insurance says these are worth $5k, it doesn't take much to total one out. I wondered why the guy hadn't bothered to register it and was selling so quick. Meh....Paul has a truck with a salvage title, and honestly, if I was going to build a waggoner special, it would be a good starting point if the price was right. Unless the frame was bent....but didn't seem like it. Whew...rough though for sure.

"If you are looking for the Toyota Land Cruiser (1964 FJ45) I would refer you to E-bay as I can no longer take the inquiries by phone. Over 500 in 24 hrs is too much. Thanks"

A little bit of internet skills and....

Clean 80 -engine transplant project- cheap:

http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3705760353.html

Not "that" cheap. No diff locks. :(
My neighbor picked up a minty 450 for close enough that this price isn't a deal....but if he haggles, maybe.

I'll go look at it tomorrow since I'm up that way anyhow, and I'll post up.
It's been parked 6 months outside, so I'm guessing that motor is completely toast, and from what he described, it needs a new crank.
No quick headgasket job here. He's an auto mechanic, so any cheap fix would have already been done.

Me too...especially if he wants to part it out and the interior is in as good of shape as it would appear. :)

I was talking to this guy yesterday and planning to drive up to see it but work got in the way. He texted me at 4:30 to say he sold it. Doug

Did you figure this out?

If it was CO Springs, it is an old pic, currently no leaves on the trees, not that that means much.

Looks like a house in AUS or NZ. SCAM
