That Blue bed with the side latch tailgate sure looks earlier than '85. I wish it was closer to take a look. It looks pretty clean.
If the bed came from a 2WD, it could be 1985. The 4WD trucks stopped getting double handles and outside hook in 1982, but it was hit or miss on 2WD up until 1985. The sheet metal detail does seem 84-88ish, although those beds should be double wall with bolt-in panels on the inside.

Rare little diesel indeed. Bet that fetches a good price on ebay with that low of miles.

looks fairly clean but seems kinda high for 200k+ miles, no? does the "anniversary" tag get a few extra dollars?

Anniversary tag can add some $$ if you find a buyer that wants it, especially the Antique Sage color since that was the only year/model that color was available.

Funny though, I've got the same truck, with 70K fewer miles and when we were looking to sell it last year it was looking like somewhere between $6K and $7K was the most we could get out of it...So I'm thinking the asking price on that one is high

Not too shabby, but 10k is pretty steep. Pull the body lift off, fix the rust issues in the QP, steal some parts from treeroot, and drive it.

One day.....
