How do u get tags for something like that? Wouldnt it fail emissions for being converted to diesel?

Got ahold of the guy. Maybe I'll go see it when I get some time off during the day. Wonder what tranny, tcase, and radiator he's using? If it's a hack job it could be pretty expensive to fix right. He says it passes emissions but I have my doubts.

It's an LJ73. That explains it.

There's a world of difference between an L series and a B series engine.

Sure. I probably won't see it until this weekend. With the time change its dark by the time I get off of work. He said he had a guy coming to look it. So not sure if it'll still be around. Being a diesel conversion, I really have no idea how u get it through emissions. In addition I've heard mixed reviews of the 6.5.

Oh OK so just like the v8 conversions? Do u have to get it inspected by the county first?
