Going though this right now with diesel. Colorado is rather easy to do. You need a certified vin inspection after the diesel motor is installed. You take that to the DMV they change your title to diesel. Then get a diesel emissions inspection. All emissions equipment requirements are based off what is newer, either the chassis or the motor. Then take that back to DMV and you can get tags and register it.

That's good to know. That diesel 80 sold b4 I could look at it. Oh well, gas is so cheap right now I'm not as enthused to get a diesel as I was when gas was 3.50-4.00 a gallon. It got pretty expensive there for a while.

That was my thought when I saw the listing,but nope. Both neighbor unimogs near me are diesels.
