That truck was built by Rocky Mountain Fourwheel Camper. $45k is not a bad price based on what is in the truck in terms of accessories. Add it up. Start with a $30 k truck and then add up what is in it.

The Mercedes OM617 is one of the best engines ever built IMHO. I don't know how I feel about swapping it into a Land Cruiser, but I'd do an OM617 swap over a Cummins any day.

man, I'd buy that 3rd gen in a heartbeat. He's a bit steep on price, but not too far off the mark. I'd say 8500 is fair

I helped out a guy on ironclads that had a Mercedes diesel swap in his bright orange 4runner with full width axles. From north Colorado area I believe.

The diesel motors they run in the unimogs are the same ones they run in the 4 door sedans. Great motors but it was a tight fit in his runner. Radiator fan ate through the upper radiator hose. I gave him a roll of electrical tape and a couple gallons of water and followed him to the road. Sounded/performed pretty awesome.
