That thing is money. Only down side is the auto, but having uncut fenders, dual tanks, and the ranger trim package more than makes up for it. Dang.... I remember these selling for "cheap" nearly 20 years ago, but those days are long gone. I bet TLC buys it.

My uncle sold his '72 bronco to TLC a few weeks ago. I'm looking forward to what they are going to do with it.

That actually doesn't look like a bad deal if its not a complete basket case in the rear. Too bad its missing emblems, but it still has the hood ornament and the uber cool front bib.

Hmmm... those axles on my mini truck...

I've looked into it. The front would work, but the rear diff offsets where the mini is centered. You won't gain much from an 80 front axle so much. It's already a mini truck sized axle.

Why would the offset left to right matter as long as it's not outside the operating angles? Might not be "ideal", but it's a way to get two electric diff locks, a full floating axle, a bigger ring gear, and read disk brakes. At 2k, you would be hard pressed to buy two ARB's, let alone get them installed.

The main thing I was interested in was the lockers. I think the front axle would be wider than the mini truck solid front axle that I have.

It's all pipe dreams in the end because I don't have the room to tear apart and part out a Land Cruiser :(
