WOW!! This seems too good to be true but there is a phone number and Colorado plates on the vehicles in the background.. 1997 80 series Collectors Edition with lockers in desert dune with 62,800 original miles for $9700. Definitely the deal of a lifetime if real.

It was most likely a scam. CL seems to have already removed it

I thought so but it had the few things i typically look for to help determine if it was a scam. Man is it a nice rig though!!

That truck looks familiar, like Ive seen it for sale before. I called the number and got a suspicious sounding voicemail. Weird stuff is going on with used vehicles. Had a friend that got his rubicon stolen. The guy that stole it then sold it. He made up a fake title and sold it to some poor soul who once found out it was stolen had to return it but will never get the money back they paid for it.

a few strange things in the add beside price, not pulled btw, just have to remove the slash from the above posted url...
1 comment of "looking for another one"..if you owned that 1 u wouldnt look for another. 2. the neighborhood in the pics doesnt match the zip code they provided
the phone # being a talknow # is also suspicious...

but if it was real that would be a heckuva deal for sure

Hard to say. These higher mileage 100s (if a lot of maintenance has been deferred) can be a $3k truck with $5-6k needing to go into them in maintenance unless a person can do all the work themselves.

It would be a lot to get it baselined Im sure. But the body looks like its in really nice shape. Black lx450 is my favorite, I wish thats what I would have started with rather than the 92 I have now. But the simpler interior has its pluses as well.

No man, your 80 is a lot better than a 100! Plus it’s a better investment! You’ll have a $40k truck when it’s all done! You could probably even get a Jon Ward type price for it if you listed it in the right market. ($90-$100k)
