Well after much deliberation and trying to talk my self out of it (I lost the debate) I've decided to move the axle back 2" because there is almost NO toung weight. Like 2-5lbs with the tub on it ! So even a tong tool box and locating the cooler and water to the front would help its not going to loaded with camping gear and water and food 100% of the time. like the transport between owners. Exc exc. Yea more work for me

i got the axle moved back 2" which was a good thing, because it made the toung weight from about 10lbs to 45lbs with the toung inwords and about 35lb extended. actually i gotta give props to my roomate, he actually did the grinding and welding while i was at work. :D:D

also got the tub compleatlly welded togther. all i have left is to finsh the 1" tube around the tub..

that looks awesome man  :thumb:

What about putting another hinge at the back, and then hitch pins through the tabs? That would make it really easy to clean out, plus you could use it as a dump bed :) :weld:

i am putting a 3rd hinge on the back , i just need to make it removable (bolted on) and have it face the opisite direction, other wise it could just slide off when opened. you could easilly just flop the trailer on end, and its virtually stright up and down, and because its almost perfectlly ballanced about 60lbs of toung weight, the wife could easilly put her back right when emptied.
