on dusty trial rides, a lot. snorkles will draw the cleaner air from up high.
I’ve always figured that a snorkel allows cooler air into the intake manifold versus air coming from the engine bay allowing for better engine performance. It’s been a while since crossing the S Platte River or Medano Creek where water was over the hood. Wouldn’t have been able to do that without the snorkel. 🤿

Depends on where your intake is. some newer vehicles plumb the intakes into the fender now, so cooler air there.

wes proved the dust factor to me decades ago in moab. we checked our filters when we got off gold bar, then ran side by side behind everyone down the road past gooney bird to the highway and checked them again...mine was packed with red dirt and his was clean(er)

Saw this beauty running errands in town. Living its best life being used to just do stuff. Really nice shape, still stick, 3 on the tree, bench seat, tube radio in the dash. Totally stock survivor. .

Best part is zero f’s given about theft. Who the heck can steal it? Leave the windows down and I bet you could leave keys in it without worry. Heck, I had to pull my taco in and out of the discount tire in KC, MO, because no one could drive it.

@fyffer is that a C2V still trucking along?
Saw quite a few of them all moving, some older Renaults as well, little slow on the trigger. That Aston had some badass LED head and tail lights buried. Ladder stacked flat ones, unique. He did not want me to take pics of the inside but that was awesome. I offered to help with oil change to check under the hood, but he just laughed.

Every Saturday morning Olde's Texaco in Evergreen has a classic car show called cars and coffee. If anyone here is into that kind of stuff, they've been doing that all summer for quite a few years now.

You can't park there!

But seriously, this was a BAD wreck on 144th and Sheridan in broomfield at approximately 6:15pm this evening. Many cars with the rubber side up including a brand new LC limited

Not exactly spotted, unless internet surfing counts. If I need to move this elsewhere, I will. Otherwise, all this little Tacwoma needs is a wittle wadder
