Added Thule rack to truck bed! Using this for RTT and paddle boards.

Four Wheel camper gonna have to wait till I sell some big software deal at work.

Has some limitations with tele-scoping pillars but will cut these down a bit to accommodate needs.

I like the rack Chris. Elevated RTT on truck bed is a nice setup. I did that on my 81 Hilux when I was working in the Spanish Peaks and Sangre De Christos. Your setup will have a much nicer ride I'm sure. :thumb:

Thanks Martin, have a great Outlaws run! Wish I could make it, maybe next year.

can you squeeze a light bar under the bar on the first one? that'd be neat and tidy it seems like.

I too am interested in bumpers front and rear for my 2014 Tacoma. The problem that I have is that the overall length of my Truck cannot change, or it won't fit in my garage. I would be curious to know how much further that front bumper sticks out than the stock bumper.
By the way Chris
Congrats on the new truck!

Congrats on the new truck!

Thanks Gary!

I will let you know length in a few weeks, Bumper should be here in 2 weeks, they had them premade, they are only adding the low profile bar and powder coating.

I have the same issue with my garage.

I have maybe 6" of play between back and garage door.

Thanks, it was one of those things where I was looking at a bunch of bumpers and thinking I was for sure doing ARB and then I saw that pic of the ICON Taco and stopped in my tracks.. You know what you like once you see it, right?

I got some other armor on the way also.. Just gotta do the lift and will be done for a while.

Probably, Tim probably has something that might work.

Tim, can you get me the round LEDs for the bumper?

a little slow on the uptake in these Taco threads... :o no I don't really have any round option that will bolt right in there. I do have some single row LED bars you could mess with, they have amber covers too :p:

And if you see something you like at Wurton http://www.wurton.com/ let me know, I have access to that whole line, being a Viair dealer.

Those BP-51 look interesting. Wonder what they bring that FOX, Icon, King don't already, particularly for front coil overs. They apparently use a 51mm bore. My FOX 2.5" body shocks have a 2.268" diameter working piston, or about 57.6mm, but I don't know if that's what OME is talking about. A 2.0" body is 51mm externally and the working piston is therefore about 45mm, so that would put the BP-51 somewhere between a 2.0 and 2.5 shock I guess.

The rear shocks look to have a couple of external adjustments, so that would be handy. I have smooth body FOX non-bypass shocks and sometimes I think the valving is dead-on and sometimes it's under damped. Been looking at doing FOX shocks with remotes and the adjusters because of that. I wonder how well those will stand up to dirt and mud, but I like the idea of having easily adjustable compression and rebound for the rear since the cargo changes dramatically between uses.

One thing is for sure, it's not any cheaper to do a full BP-51 kit over the equivalent FOX, Icon or King. The front coil overs go for $1,600 and the whole BP-51 kit is $3,200. The very top end FOX and King front 2.5 remote, external adjuster coil overs sit at $1,700 and I can't see OME being on that level, honestly.

Dave,

What do you know about LEDS?

There are two LED replacement threads over in TW. I ordered the domes, map, reverse LEDS and OPT7 fogs from the zon and OPT7 H11s for the Low Beams from Ebay. Most seem to like the OPT7s just fine, only a few have felt their throw was not the same as OEM HIDS.

I like the LED color for sure.

Pretty decent write ups:
