Also mounted ski box on Tonneau cover for this winter with removeable Thule Towers. Worked great last weekend, to and from Crested Butte.

Well it has been a while since I posted pics and since I missed the meeting..

I got it lifted this summer, ToyTec Boss 2.5s front and back and last week got a topper!

Still have not transferred the winch over from the 100... and need to build a sleeping platform.. Check out the USB charger they now include with the SnugTop Rebel! Wired to battery! Windoors rock!

All in all I am really, really liking this rig. It is not going to break any land speed records but heck not too many Toyota 4x4s will...

Nice Chris.

Been working on mine, doing the pre-winter dance: drop sliders, clean up rust, fresh coat of paint on the frame rails (shake my head every year at the speed they rust now-a-days) and a new underside coating of Fluid Film.

These are the first experience I have with bolt-on sliders, I assume it's normal to need to address the rust. It seems where the two surfaces meet any dust and gravel that gets in there just chews the paint off. I have nice little circle bubbles of rust each year in a few locations on each side of the truck. I think eventually I will modify these and just weld them. The Fat Kid tells me that having sliders welded on does not impact the frame rot warranty and mine falls under the in service date + 12 years until 2020. The only reason I bolted them on was to be able to take them in case mine rotted out and Toyota wanted to make a thing of it.

My next major issue to address is the driver's side diff needle bearing has worn out, so I'm going to put in the ECGS sintered bushing. Then I'll need to deal with the throw out bearing squeak. I don't think I need a clutch, though.

It's been a good year for Donna, she's done about half a dozen trips, got some nice dents and scrapes. My stock tin skids look nice and used, grrrr, tough truck. If I ever come into some disposable cash RCI is gonna get some bucks!

Dave, frame paint looks awesome!

Guess I should check my contact points also on my sliders at some point. Did you see my dent on my sliders driver side? No ultimately wheeling adventure carnage, just the darn yellow pole at the gas stations...

Didn't see the dent until you mentioned it. That's very nice. We can keep it just between us that it didn't happen on Holy Cross.

Are you still running stock upper arms? I thought 285/75R16 and larger required spacers on factory wheels or aftermarket wheels not to rub.

I am running the SPC UCAs. Last summer they were $400.00 on Zon..

The TRD Wheels are 7.5" so i think the wheel and UCAs are helping but these Toyos are only 11.6 wide. The 285 BFGs are 11.3 Both of these measurements are on an 8" RIM per specs, so thinking the 7.5 rim might help push that side wall in just a touch?

I can put my fingers between tire and UCA, so maybe 3/4" space?

I think the test is gonna be off camber articulation.. Will test that out this weekend..

Yeah, I think the UCA interference is with stock ones. Interested in hearing the results of the fender clearance. I know on 2nd gen a 285/75R16 will usually rub on the body mount at steering lock and sometimes will kiss the frame, too. Like the look of those wheels.

I guess I should let the cat out of the bag. I ended up trading my fully built 200 for a fully built Taco! It's a 17 TRD with a lot of stuff - Icon/Total Chaos suspension, CBI bumpers and armor, and the best part is an AT Habitat topper with a full Goose Gear interior buildout. It's a big adjustment, but for what we like to do it's going to be a great fit.
