Awesome pics and locations, Perry. Got any updated pics of Martin's current condition? Martin, I hope you are getting around A-OK.
Suz and I were staged in Santa Fe over this weekend to hang out in Chaco Canyon for a few days this week but the wind and the snow drove us home today. Our best pics are of the 100 totally caked in ice in the driveway this afternoon. Looks like you got the same treatment in Moab starting with the car show. Bummer! Glad you stuck it out and got some early season campfires under your belt. Looking forward to a great summer of adventures and great pics like your!
Steve

Thanks Steve!

Sounds like Martin is making the best of things. A bummer way to start the season:(.

Bummer for you guys not making it to Chaco. Still on the places to check out. Yeah, the weather made things interesting. Still a great trip. Already looking forward to the next one.

Good stuff Perry. :ranger:

Thanks man! Missed you guys while out there!
Great pics so far Perry! That was an epic trip. :thumb:

Steve, no photos of my crushed foot, that happened two days after returning from Moab. :brick:

Sorry your road trip got weathered out! Perry and I made the best of it and kept the spirits high even with our "Plan B trip". ;)

Look out! There's a bear in that tent! :hill:

So I'll be honest about being a bit bummed when turning around, half way to Fable Valley. Been day dreaming about that dang place all winter. I guess you could call it a crush. A handsome lady, getting me through the colder months. Everyday, distracted. But once Martin had permits in hand, and paid for ( thanks buddy!), the plan b trip started to set in. Time to go with the flow.

Heading back out to 211.

Devils Kitchen camp #2. Some good memories:). Oh, and ended up meeting the Tor Fab guys from Washington state. Mental note to look them up while in Washington in September.

I too was bummed to not get further down onto the plateau and to Fable/Dark, but if we had ventured down there I think we would have been stuck for longer than we anticipated due to the rain and mud up there. I regret not bringing my chains. Although now I have an excuse for new mud tires and winch! ;)

Great pics Perry, thanks for getting all the shots of the ol' FJ60. Here's a good one of your 'runner on the E Hill trail:

Thanks James. Yeah, was bummed to not have a  with ya.

Thanks for the pics. Almost like i was there.

Thanks:).

Sorry for not getting more up. I guess the busy week made me a bit more tired than I thought. Pretty much done going through pics, so should be able to get the rest up Saturday.

Back to the pics after a lazy Saturday morning:).

Thought I spotted some rock art while heading back to E-hill. Not so much.

It was a lot of fun checking out some new country. Had yet to get down that way. 50 miles from the 4 corners. 55 miles from Monument Valley. We spent some time enjoying the evening light while looking for camp.

One main road leads you through the valley. Was glad we were able to get down there before the evening light:).

A few side roads would lead to some potential camps, though a bit exposed with the wind.
