Early start for the day. Lots to check out.

It was a great drive through the Valley.

Back onto pavement for a bit.

Climbing up.

Had to take a few stops to look back down onto Valley of the Gods.

Hiking along the rim. Cedar Mesa= fine place.

Was able to check off a few items on the "to explore" list. Only to add a few more. Like the depths of this place.

A stop at the Utah Launch complex after lunch. Sadly, slowly being destroyed by drug addicts.

Around the Launch complex. Athena missiles were assembled, and launched from here, to White Sands in NM.

There were three of these mobile buildings.

Last few of the base. From here, Martin and I finished the loop back to Moab.

Thursday, with nothing on the agenda other than helping out at CM. Treeroot, John, Martin and myself headed back to that one road in Lisbon Valley that I mentioned earlier.

Exploring the mines was fun, something different in the desert for sure. Hard to describe how deep and dark it feels when you're in there! Thankfully Mike had that uber bright LED flashlight.
