Suz and I, along with our two dogs, had to spend two nights in the National Guard Armory in Goodland KS when we encountered an ice storm coming back to Denver after a family gathering for Thanksgiving in KC. I called my ahole boss on Monday morning to let him know I wouldn’t be back to work until Wednesday and he blew up on the phone at me. He wanted to write me up for I don’t remember what but fortunately his boss was an active National Guard member who shut his sorry ass down.
