We watched Ben Rector and the CSO at the Boettcher concert hall earlier this month

Other than Elton with his Piano solo at the Matthew Shepard memorial concert probably 6 years ago at the Elly Caulkins….probably the best musicianship and lyricist I have seen with a dude and his instrument…

Add in the CSO around Ben and yea rad

This is one of my favorite, favorite clips of music of all time. Absolutely incredible, trance-inducing performance.
Shining light example of “some cats got it”. RL definitely had it. My favorite album of his is “Ass Pocket of Whiskey”. Doesn’t get much simpler and grittier than that. ❤️
