Sold my $1,500 Aussie tent with add on room , side, walls, and awning and now rock the $79 Costco Coleman. I'm too cool for overlanding. Starting a new "retro" overland look.

OOooooooo whaaaaat! Guess I'm going to have to get some stock in Coleman because it's back in style! Can't wait to see kerosene lanterns make a comeback.

After reading this thread, I was concerned that I might be the butt of the joke, considering that I own a RTT and also enjoy IPAs while camping.

Then I realized that I have no idea what a "skottle" is, have no issues taking a dump in a hole I just dug, and I don't own any flannel.

I feel much better now.

I think this thread is a huge knock to the guys who have youtube channels and want you to subscribe to their Patreon accounts to pay them to look like fools......

We all like good gear but you dont need to spend thousands to get out and enjoy

LOL!

I was totally against getting a trasharoo until I went to the Dollhouse with @DaveInDenver and @Mendocino. There you have to pack out what you squeeze out and I was using a luggable loo to take care of this. The lid seals up well enough until you start hitting bumps causing it to pop open. Every time it did that the truck was filled with the aroma of fresh cut pine . When I got back home the first thing I did was order a trasharoo off of Amazon because I'll never pack that stuff out inside the vehicle ever again!

I love how triggering this thread is.

Here's a photo that shook me.

What @Stuckinthe80s has failed to mention here is that at the start of the trip he had a mouse in the truck eating his food. By the end of the trip the truck smelled so bad the mouse abandoned the truck for some fresh air!:grinpimp:

I'm sorry Douglas, that looks like a good time more than pretentious overlanders.

Who wouldn't want a 1965 Lincoln pulling that Airsteam fishing with someone like that? Cars back then were more truck than the trucks now.

Seriously, home boy, no comparison.
