Anyone used the Badland Harbor Freight 'offroad ' jack? Sounds like a good idea, even just in the driveway etc. In the pic the orange part is a new mount you can attach to your rig...

There's a ton of great reviews online about this jack.

I have the big one, love it. I do want a smaller front wheel from this unit. Several applications are about .5" to tall for 2 common uses I have.

I have one that I love. Well... Loved, until today.... When the handle cracked me across my jaw & just about knocked me out. I'm currently sitting on my couch with a bag of frozen cherries perched on my shoulder nursing this outrageous pain, & hoping I didn't crack my jaw.

Long story short, the new to me McChicken McMansion (insulated chicken coop) is in the yard.

Word to the wise, use any jack with sincere caution!

Share more! Is that for sale? Super cool truck.
It's a beastly frankentruck for sale in Indian Hills:

1961 Ford f550 super duty regular cab & chassis 141" W.B. 2D

$19,500
Listed 12 hours ago in Indian Hills, CO

Has your 🧑‍⚕️ told you have low T-levels? I think this 1961 Ford F600 will fix that in no time. This is a titled 61 F600 (17,000gvwr) cab sitting on a 2008-2010 Ford F550 141" WB chassis. Started out as a grain truck always in the state of Colorado and sports the original selling dealer here in CO and 99% of the original mint green paint. Has some small dents and dings from being used for the last 64 years but in amazing shape otherwise. This was an original Custom Cab configuration so it had the polished grill and "fancier" interior with headliner but strangely radio delete. Engine is a built Cummins 12 valve P7100 motor from a 1997 Dodge Ram. It has had numerous HP/longevity improvements such as head studs, heavier valve springs on intake and exhaust, governor springs for higher RPM limit. Exhaust maniold is a two piece unit with a PhatShaft 62/70 HX40 style turbo with 4" down pipe. Intercooler is a 3rd Gen Dodge Ram with custom intercooler piping. Cooling system is a 3rd gen factory radiator with the fan shroud and mechanical 12 valve fan assembly. Transmission is from a 2005 Ram and is a G56 6 speed manual. 3rd gear synchro is bad but gear condition is good via visual inspection from top cover. All other gears operate without issue.Transfercase is also from a 2005 Ram and is a NP271 manual shift unit. It was modified to have the Ford front driveshaft flange so the factory Ford F550 driveshaft could be used without modification. Rear driveshaft is custom with the G56 slip yoke and the correct u-joints for rear axle. I have the manual shift level mechanism and that is still in need of being installed.Front axle is the factory Super 60 unit specific to the F450-F550 chassis. Not only does it have humongous u-joints but it has a turning radius that could make a Honda Civic jealous. Factory 15" dual piston discs are on the front. The vacuum activated locking hubs have been replaced with true manual Warn hubs. Rear axle is a Dana S110 with the optional TracLock limited slip. 15.5" disc brakes are on the rear. All fluids from both axles and transmission/ transfer case have been replaced. Axle ratio is 4.88. Combine that with the 40.6" tires and the 6th gear ratio the engine RPM's at 65mph should be right at 2200RPM.Suspension is from a 2023 F550 (also a 17KGVWR). Springs, shocks etc have only a handful of miles from just the test drives that have been done. A Fast Fuel pump system (125gph rated 12 valve specific unit) is installed and tied into the factory F550 inboard 40 gallon fuel tank and it has its own dedicated fuel pump relay that is activated via the keyExhaust is the 4" downpipe to a straight pipe and then tied into the factory F550 rear muffler and tailpipe.Steel Flatbed is 10'6"x92" (96" to outside tie downs). This is a very heavy duty flatbed that was cut down from a 22' medium duty transport truck. I have a headache rack that is included and can supply pictures of that if requested. Wheels are 335/80R20 Continental MPT81's on Hutchinson forged alloy headlock military units. Same as what is used on EarthRoamer campers and brush trucks all over the US where they need to get to the back country and can't have the dually wheels due to poor traction.Parking brake system is all factory F550 and all new cables have been installed so now it operates correctly.Electrical system is 80% there. All of the battery and starting system cables were upgraded to 2/0 copper welding wire and the battery was relocated to behind the bench seat. There is room and configured so a secondary battery can also be added there. Alternator circuit uses a Ford 3G alternator. The charge circuit was upgraded with 1/0 copper wiring and positive and negative buss bars were added in the engine compartment. Headlight circuit is now upgraded with JW Speaker 8700 LED headlights and a painless headlight relay kit was installed. The remaining work of tying the F600 turn signal, brake lights, reverse lights, horn circuit etc is still not completed but that is very minor and doesn't affect its drivability.Braking and steering system utilize a 3rd Gen Hydroboost unit and it delivers excellent power assist for both braking and steering. Factory F550 steering gear is combined with a mid 70's steering column. This is a running/driving rig that still needs some finishing touches like closing up the firewall where the motor had to be pushed back for clearances, repair of the 3rd gear synchro , and completing the electrical like the gauges and installing a heater but the price has been lowered accordingly and will not be lowered again. It will only be available for sale until maybe the 3rd week of October and then will come off the market until maybe summer of 2026 so if you wish to purchase act quickly because I will be out of the country until June. For all of those that will write me to see if I will accept a trade, highly unlikely but if you wish to send over what you have please know that I would only take something that is worth quite a bit more than this as I would have to go back and put it up for sale also.
