Be a duck: "let it roll off your back" (also though if you're a duck then your back is all oily and I might shoot at you so...)

EDIT: Seriously though, Michael Maxfield is a great dude and I'm glad there is a discussion ongoing about the right way to do things. Great communicators like him can help bridge the gaps (I hope).

This was posted on the BB group FB page. I’m not trying to be negative but it was both funny and depressing at the same time. I left the San Juan Mountain trail group a long time ago. Couldn’t take the constant stupid posts on my feed all the time.

Why does it look like they’re driving up the wrong way? I see the article mentions the location below the “steps “ but nothing is mentioned about them going the wrong way. Is there a section uphill with tight switchbacks and a narrow shelf road of loose rocks below tree line that I’m unaware of? Am I missing something?

Landowner of Bross: "I really want to open the mountain to hikers but im worried about liability. Ill try a waiver program and see how it goes"

Driver: "Hold my beer and call your lawyers".

So damn stupid. Nothing even resembling a road up there.

Well, if you haven't noticed, drivers can't see the ground out of any new trucks these days. It's all just point and shoot. Driver didn't even know what was underneath the truck. That goes for all the new so-called off road vehicles these days.

On another note, stupid people will always exist. We've just allowed them the tools to become more prevalent.
