My 4 YO son came last year and had a blast. He talks about this trip all the time and is excited to go again this year.

Is there space around the area to boondock (30' tt)?

Wouldn't take it anywhere 'off road' but if we could find a place not too far out of the way to drop it and the tow truck that might work.

There are some small campgrounds along the pass, but off the top of my head I can only think of places the south side of guanella.

@Old Man Greybeard I would look into Clear Lake Campground, they may even have pull through spots there not sure, but it's a place you may be able to reserve and you'd only be a couple minutes past the trailhead.

Love to hang out but I already have a camping reservation for that weekend.
