Looks like I have 2 maybe 3 of the big Kids. we are also bringing taquitos and guacamole and a 6 quart UB style crock pot full of Spicy Green Chili.This is going to be a in good time

is there any way to not permanently mount a cheep one to use on runs like this when my cruiser is down? the power supply is the hardest part I would think unless it runs off of 12v

run a harness and coax, but put plugs on them to unplug the radio easily. i do that with the 2mtr, so i can switch it between rigs. if you dont' want to leave the harness in, you can use eyelets in the harness to hook to battery (be sure to put an inline fuse holder in), use a magnetic mount antenna and run the cables outside and through the door jamb. the weatherstrip will flex around the wires.

wish i was going i'll be at the state association meeting dinner and casino night (might be fun if i was any good at/liked gambling.)

In addition to bringing paper plates, bowls, plastic knifes, forks, spoons for everyone & trash bags. we will bring (3) gallons of Safeway drinking water, hot chocolate, marsh mallows, hot tea, 3-burner camp stove, w/propane, butane lighter, & a dutch oven.

I was riding with the treeroot crew. What a great turn out!! I think I counted 21 rigs once it was all said and done. Great to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones during the cookout which was awesome!! hope to post up a couple of pictures (of what turned out) later
