Wow holy hell that’s amazing man. Soooo stoked for you dude. So that tiny bit of excess air had the fuel trim pegged on that one side?

No idea if this is relevant but for the LS swap apparently I am to take the cruise control ECU outputs into the PCM inputs. Also, for the 1996 LX450 found this funky voltage output from the cruise control ECU Black-White wire into the Start circuit. It was about 11.9 V and seemed almost no current but was enough to cause the GM PCM to cycle the starter solenoid. According to an expert the circuit is there to cancel the cruise control in case an 80 owner turns the key to start while driving (cruise control was new-ish back in those days). For now the CC ECU is unplugged. When I hook up CC I expect to de-pin and cut that wire.Hey Nic, I’m currently reworking my harness for my swap. One of the things I’m gonna try to add in is cruise control. Did you end up getting that working for your rig?
I’m trying to figure out two things right now:
- If I should make a circuit to convert the vss to a digital input for the ecu or if you bought this thing and had success https://sirhclabs.com/product/cortex-ebc-speed-sensor-adapter/
- How to best control cruise control. Did you measure the resistors in the 100 series cruise switch by chance or know if the 100series cruise control stalk fits in the 80series spot?
