It's an IMV platform, ladder frame, part time 4WD. It seems like Toyota may have designated it a 500 series Land Cruiser. Although in one of the documents they show a TNGA-F chassis. It makes perfect sense to me as an entry level vehicle to build a brand loyal buyer that will eventually buy a 70/250/300 or whatever in the future. And in our market I bet it would sell. They can put all the specs they want on it and promote it as whatever cutesy thing it's supposed to be but the bottom line is it looks like a big pile of hot plastic garbage. It's an SUV but not a Land Cruiser nor an FJ. The Land Cruiser badge has been irrepairably damaged in recent years and Toyota should be ashamed. They're going in a direction I simply cannot follow.
