a head count for pizza is helpful but is tough to estimate due to various factors. Right now we have a preorder in for 8 large pizzas, pretty much the exact same order as last year, cost total is almost right at $400 including tip. Drinks not included.
our order is:
all large 3lbs prairie pies
1x veggie combo
2x margherita
3x sausage combo
1x spicy victoroni
1x cajun
I made the order 2 weeks ago but I will call and see if we can get 1 of the sausage combo as gluten free, if that works for @NovaTacoma
Heads up … I-70 is red from evergreen to the Central City turn off. What should be 50 min is currently a hour and 40 min. Take an alternate or plan accordingly.
Thank y’all for having myself and Colorado 4x4 Rescue & Recovery out for the day. For those who joined us for the recovery discussion and demos we hope you took away some good tips and thank you for spending your time with us - I know we went a bit longer than intended.
If anyone have any questions about our organization, please let me know. If you’re interested in volunteering I’ll post a link below. We have several interest sessions coming up in March.
If you have any questions about any of the gear or techniques we shared, also please let me know - here, on FB, or email or call me. I’m also happy to provide Bryan’s info.
If you’re interested in learning more I’ve got 1-day Intro Recovery and 2-day Intro + Intermediate Recovery classes on the calendar in May with more coming over the summer, and am also happy to recommend other trainers if you don’t see what you’re looking for.
Driving and recovery skills are at the core of our curriculum, with communication, leadership, navigation, and survival integrated throughout. We employ the best practices of the International 4-Wheel Drive Training Association (I4WDTA) and Tread Lightly and Stay The Trail principles.

Lastly, for those who stuck around for the recovery stuff, I know your snow-wheeling time was short. Let me know if you’d like to have another snow run and we can put one together
Side note: you may have noticed we deployed a team during the training and they recovered a Ford F-150 on Apex Road. Immediately after that recovery I joined them to recovery a 4Runner on Pickle Gulch, and today we have another recovery up there. We also recovered a RAV4 up in Larimer County on Saturday that had been snowed in for weeks.
