Were in and going with the first group this year! Hmm, do I abuse the 40 or hammer the mini-truck? Decisions, decisions.:D

I think you have to go Gecko just from a "get back on the horse" perspective :D

I'd go with the first group except for that little problem of 80's sinking :hill:

I'd like to ride co-dog with someone. My truck is not a fan of deep snow but I am.

I've talked 2 my friend I can get a dollar off the buffet prices, $11 per person for just pizza and $13 to add the salad bar. He also said that he could give us a pitcher discount and will try to match any other places offer. His name is Brian (if they ask say superman(don't ask)), he's a really stand up guy and said that he'll do what he can and if the organizer of the run wants to give him a call he already has a head up. He was even the one that said shop around and he would do his best to have use choose them, which I still think would not be a bad idea. Not sure but think we get our own room!

Thanks for this. I like the idea of having a fixed price for an all you can eat buffet. Although, I figure we will have about 40-50 people. And at the prices you mentioned we would be over budget. About $15 per person with tip and pop. Minus $5 donation would be $4-500 dollars for the club. And we have a 300.00 budget if I remember correctly. So 11.00 per person should be our target point with pop and tip.

I am planning to check out the pizza place across the street like some mentioned at the meeting. So more to come. I'm open to ideas. I was also thinking of checking out the pizza place in Central City that we used to go too.

I was thinking that we should look around, I've worked for the company before and think they are overpriced, but he did say himself to shop around and if a better offer comes around he would do his best to meet or beat it.

I can make sure, if we R.S.V.P in time, that we have his best staff working it.

Not sure but think all non-LQ drinks are included.

I'm good friends with the day bartender and some of the owners at Dostal Alley, (pizza place in central). I also used to work in Crook's Palace in Blak Hawk so I'll try to speak with both places in the next few days and see what they can offer. Dostal is a casino with limited room however, I would not recomend it except boose will be cheaper. Crook's has plenty of space, their pizza is good, and it has a real nice bar without blinking lights.

Why don't we go to Beau Jo's and be big boys and just pay our own way? That way all anybody has to plan for is actually making it off the mountain to be able to eat at any pizza place .

I hear ya. But, I think most people like the idea of a Snow and Pizza Run where the club at least subsidizes the Pizza. I could change it to $5-10 donation per adult to relieve some of the pressure.

Either way I will plan to check out a few places before the Jan meeting so we can discuss it more. At least this year you can count on me managing the costs the best I can based on the # of people that show up. I can't say I did that last year.

Glad I can help. That's how mine was .Once you get a bumper/winch, I'm sure your thinking about one, it should all work it self out. I'm sure this thread could use a pic right now.

Oh stop it d00d. You do a FANTASTIC job. Putting these things on is always iterative... we learn, we grow, something else changes, we learn, we grow, repeat until done. LOL
