Bobzooki told me yesterday there hasn’t been a whole lot of fresh snow up there recently, so hopefully we won’t be stuck in the parking lot like we did several years ago.

Are you kidding? That was by far the best New Years day run ever!!!

Rudy, myself and a couple others camped at the upper parking lot last weekend. We were able to get a stock Rav4 in with little trouble albeit with a really good driver. The upper hill was icy with powder on top, Rudy made it past the first turn but none of the stock vehicles were able to.

Since the run is over a month away I don't know that that helps much other than to confirm that there is little snow as of now.

Has there been any pick for a pizza joint yet? If it ends up at Beau Joe's let me know, I know a couple of the head managers and can always see what the can offer us. I can also say that we will have a big party and that we might decide to go somewhere else unless they have a better offer for us.

Do we have a guesstamite of home many people? I know that maybe hard but maybe just going off of past snow runs and the vibe off the thread.

I regret I will have to miss this as I will be in Nar'yan Mar; which is truly in the middle of nowhere.

If you click the KMZ below Google Earth will take you to it.

Won't be able to make it this year, Suzie won two tickets to George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic that evening - snow wheeling, pizza party and GC and PF all in one day? Not anymore.
I do have some tire chains for sale in the For Sale section. 33x10.50

I've been a fan of P-Funk and all the offshoots, including Bootsy Collins, for years but have never seen any of them. Being a P-Funk virgin should make for an amazing evening.

If you could hit them up for a discount that would be awesome :thumb: - 20% off, 4 pizza free, whatever will help :)

As for # of people, I would guess 50  - Last year there was a HUGE group. The year before that I think there was 30-40.

Lucky! Saw Maceo Parker back in the day, was an awesome show:cool:. My Brother is a big fan of P-Funk.

Back to the snow run, was planning on grabbing an open seat if possible, want to get out and use the new toy as much as possible:)

I'm still planning on going if you want to ride in the 40.

I dunno, last time I rode with Jaket on a snow run, I ended up having to walk a mile up hill in the snow:brick::hill:

Perry, calling that camera a toy is just wrong. That is a serious tool!
I'm hoping that Fred Wesley, if not Maceo too, is still in the 'hood and shows up at the Fillmore that night.

Count me in with the :Princess: if I don't have to work. Should know soon.

I went on the last yankee hill run with my neighbor and his heep (the one with the way cool drivers door) due to my 40 not being ready yet back in November. All should be ready this time.

PS, He's selling that Cherokee on craigslist.org, pretty funny post.

I've talked 2 my friend I can get a dollar off the buffet prices, $11 per person for just pizza and $13 to add the salad bar. He also said that he could give us a pitcher discount and will try to match any other places offer. His name is Brian (if they ask say superman(don't ask)), he's a really stand up guy and said that he'll do what he can and if the organizer of the run wants to give him a call he already has a head up. He was even the one that said shop around and he would do his best to have use choose them, which I still think would not be a bad idea. Not sure but think we get our own room!

Were in and going with the first group this year! Hmm, do I abuse the 40 or hammer the mini-truck? Decisions, decisions.:D

I, personally, say The Gecko! I've seen the Blue Mule, love it, but now I want the truck to come out and play.
