We are loading up the truck to head home this morning, & my battery is kaput. I forgot my jump box apparently. Is there anyone close-ish with a set of cables or a jump box?

Just made it home. I have no idea what caused the drained battery this morning. The alternator is charging fine, & no extra lights were left on. The fridge was plugged into my bluetti. So it just didn't make sense. The universe was keeping us safe from something on our way home is all I can come up with.

Well from the symptom it gave me this morning, I'm thinking it may be more of a starter or solenoid issue than a battery/charging issue.
It tried to not start again this morning. It clicked once, I turned it off & then I tried again and it started. My OBD+Link app says that the battery was at 13.9 when the truck is running.

I'm talking a little more with Michael Jefferson, we think from all of the water we were running through in Moab, and all of the puddles that Vixen is drawn to like a bug to a porch light, the starter or starter solenoid may have gotten water in where it shouldn't be.

What's your best suggestion for purchasing an OEM starter for a 19 4Runner?

Michael also mentioned that there are two starter options for my year truck. One being more heavy duty than the other. Does anyone have any insight into that topic? I think I'd prefer the heavy duty version.
