ALL - There are about 17-20 attending. I know last time we were asked to carpool on the trail. I assume it will be same this time.
I can bring CAMO80 or leave her behind. I'm good either way. But, if she is not going on the trail, I'll leave her home. I just want to know what others are thinking?

DOM - your thoughts?

I'm happy to drive for the carpool - I'll have room for three more in the 4Runner. Still has stock seats (vs a platform and shelves, for example ;-) ).

Yes, we will be reducing the amount of trucks down to 10 for field portions of this class so if you prefer to drive something more economical to Grand Junction, please do so

FYI, the weather yesterday was nice, warm and breezy, so we had nicely dried south-facing MTB and hiking trails at Kokopelli. Was still soft in shadows and north exposure but absent moisture this week (which is slightly prediction for Wed/Thur) shouldn't be too bad.

Weather looks rainy Friday and Saturday so I just cancelled my KOA reservations and booked a room at Grand Vista. My son and I will be driving my tan FJ60. See you all Saturday morning!

That will be helpful for Sunday - time change happens between Saturday and Sunday!

Btw I will be driving my 200 to Grand Junction, but I'm more than happy to ride in someone else's vehicle during the class especially if this is their first time and would like some in-cab discussion. I've done this one quite a few times both with Rising Sun and for work - just can't get enough :ROFLMAO:

I will have room for 3-4 in my 4runner & have weather lined floor mats in case it's muddy out there.

If anyone is interested in caravanning, I’ll be heading out from Arvada tomorrow afternoon sometime. Driving the 80 so it’ll be a slow ride.

Also, my favorite pizza and beer joint is the Hot Tomato in Fruita. I’ll probably head over there for dinner Friday evening if anyone wants to join me.

edit: I’ll be grabbing a pizza at Pablo’s and taking it over to Ramblenine brewery for a beer. I’m planning to be there around 615p.
