Phil was not amused when I had to return to work after my lunch. I don’t think I hit the pet quota.

We had a feeling that Leroy was not of black and tan coonhound descent as was advertised. He shows very few of the classic traits we have come to know and love throughout the years. So I came up with my own theory as to what he actually was, and then my wife got tired of not knowing for sure, so we ordered a DNA test for him through Embark. And the results were kinda shocking.

My guess was that he was part doberman and part hound. But I was only half right...

And here is a photo of the gift that keeps giving. Our dobie, not coonhound, Leroy, enjoying laying on my wife.

@Brucker it can be a lot of fun see how genetics will play out in a dog and how they look and behave. I would never have guessed Great Pyrenees and now all I can see is dobe!
