Utah - more impromptu wheeling

I have chosen to skip Cruise Moab this year. A family member is getting deployed to Iraq again and I want to take her and her husband into the Utah desert for a few days of camping, exploring, and drinking good beer.

We are heading into SE Utah 4-18 via Hovenweep. The plan is to explore Comb Ridge and Arch Canyon before hitting Moab. We'll be heading back towards Denver on the 24th.

If anyone wants to connect with us on our trip, right on. We'll be toolin' in my old, decrepit' 40 and our rotin' 60.

I have CB4 and HAM 146.460 plus some repeaters if I didn't mess those up programming.

Have a fun time Martin We may pass eachother on the 24th. Be rolling through the desert early-mid day with a plan to stop at Rays Tavern for lunch. Will keep the cb on.

Well, we got a late start due to the huge snow storm up here in Evergreen. 47 Inches in Brook Forest! No power for 4 days and we didn't hit the road 'till Monday.

Good trip, spent Monday-Friday in Utah, we skipped Comb Ridge this time and spent a day-and-a-half in Moab and the rest exploring the San Rafael Swell.
