1973 FJ-55 $600

apparently someone was needing pig parts because someone hauled it away this weekend. But not before I scored these beauties off of it. I hope they have a hazmat suit, their going to need it to clean out the inside.

Bunch of Land Cruiser parts including a free FJ55 axle housing.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1141700417684552/

"I have a bin of leftover 60 & 80 Series Land Cruiser parts. I also have an FJ55 rear axle housing. $50 for everything and you must take all of it. No guarantees any of it works, but the price is low and most all of these things can be rebuilt (brake master cylinders & starter for sure). The 55 axle housing is free. Come and get all this stuff!"

Careful with this attempt at a quick flip! Last guy had a floated title from Texas and when I looked at it I warned him of ALL of the actual crimes he was engaged in by trying to resell this rig in CO with a floated title, no VIN check, no bill of sale, no passing emissions test and no DR2365 form. All of that and the thing wouldn't start at the time. The now current owner replaced the batteries which will only temporarily "fix" the issue. https://www.facebook.com/share/1FYmnVE7xy/

That's mine. All of it FREE to anybody on this forum.

PLEASE get it out of my garage. I don't care if you scrap it.

Great heads up on this. It really sucks what some people do. One part of me is thinking though ... what's the price where all that becomes worth it? Offer him $7500 and then figure it out on the back end? With proper paperwork and the mechanicals 100% functioning what's this thing worth? 18k?

Jim I can grab it all and put it in my shop, if anyone ever needs any of the parts, they can reach out to me and grab them for free. I have the extra room!

Having to unwind the title crap will take an act of god OR some serious soul searching as you forge a bill of sale and try not to make eye contact with the date of sale/purchase price questions. VIN checks are free and the DR2365 form only costs $40 or so after scheduling time at the Englewood facility and then a $60-100 diesel emissions test (depending on if they test in 2 wheel or 4wheel drive)

I’m new to CO so I don’t know if your DMV has a process like this(?):

Abandoned Vehicle Process

But when I lived in VA I was able to acquire several titles over the years thru this process after I purchased a vehicle from the owner and only received a bill of sale or the title was lost/destroyed.

We do have an abandon vehicle process similar to this but keep in mind, a prior seller somewhere down the road could say that they want the vehicle back.

I've never had to pay for a DR2365 on any of my diesels or gas imports.

It's been 3 years since I had to bring one down there but I swear there was a processing fee... perhaps I just bought those boys lunch under a gullable tax?

You also dont need those forms if your in an emissions exempt county but also thats a lot of dough when someone has the potential of coming after you.

Our motorhome is built on a 2008 MB Sprinter chassis with a diesel engine. Just passed the latest annual diesel emissions test today. I live in Boulder County, not sure if that makes a difference.

When you say “Floated Title” do you mean “Skipped Title” meaning the current owner is holding a title with a previous to him/her owner signature with the intent of passing that on to potential buyer?
