I've bought from this guy before. He's a solid dude and I think this is a pretty good deal even if the tranny needs a rebuild:

The adapter is worth $600 alone. Anyone know if this would work in a 93’ LC?
It looks like the bellhousing is for a SBC, not a Toyota straight 6. Also, let's say a chevy v8 swap is what you're thinking, it would take some trans tunnel work to get it to work right. Plus, the shifter position would be right under your dash. Anything is possible, just whether or not the amount of effort is worth it to you.

I have a 383 and NV4500 with no issues. Awesome to have the 5 speed on the highway

I have a NV4500 mated to 5.3 Chebby in my 87. Minor tunnel hammering for t-case shifter clearance was all that was necessary. Be prepared for some whinny gear noise and sticky shifting at times with this unit. Mine is a 94 with the granny gear, which I never use on the street. I don't recall the year they went away from the granny gear, maybe 96?

Looks like a decent deal.
Thanks for posting this. I snagged it. 57,000 original miles and one of the most rust free all-original 40s I've ever seen.

Seems like a bit of work has been done to make a nice crawler.

Says it overheats so could be a gamble on if its been overheated. A compression test and a lowball could make it interesting. Photos and listing leave something to be desired, but for the price it could be worth a look.
