Not quite the market place but a FB ad... makes me kind of want to toss my 3rd gen up there for $40k with all the armor and mods🤣

What the actual crap? My 98 has about 70k less than that and I bet that one's not a five speed and yet it's listed at nearly 3x what I bought mine for! I bet the only mods are the bull bar, lift and tires too (which mine has all those except the bull bar). Even if that thing has had all of the chassis rebuilt recently that still is only a couple of grand more at most unless it's sitting on some extended travel front end parts.... I bet I know what shop that is though. I remember when trying to find my 3rd gen seeing craigslist ads that came from one shop where they were likely putting bare minimum "offroad" upgrades on them and listing them for bonkers amounts of money. Seriously though I can't make heads or tails out of anything in the market here. Just the fact that you can have a 100 series go for 65k and then next post is a beat up 80 for 1.5k tells you there is no rhyme or reason to anything out here.

I was going to paint my 66 Chevy pickup that color, but I don’t think it looks good on a 100 series…

I think this one was just on bringatrailer or carsandbids last week and didn't sell....I wonder why? I think it had something crazy like less than 70k miles on it too.

Looking at the BAT for more pictures:

1. Victory IMO saturates Craigslist with listings of vehicles they don't even have in stock to generate calls. I dislike them for this alone as I've called on several Tundra listings over the years every time they said "oh that sold but we have a and b in stock." The CL ad was posted hours earlier. They have horrible feedback as well and sell tons of "polished turds".

2. The vehicle showed up as white several times on registration and carfax. Not a factory color, its just weird and ugly.

3. A lot of rust for a vehicle with 66k - spent time in FL. No way that undercarriage got that way in Colorado even if drove in winter every one of those miles. The interior has what looks like rust stains all over on the carpet liner - something is off.

4. The paint job doesn't look pro and there is rust already showing on multiple parts of the car like the rear hatch trim etc. in the pictures. This thing wreaks of hurricane. Tape lines all over different plaques and hardware - doesn't look good.

5. Undercarriage has rust, no major visible leaks but just doesn't look well maintained; upper ball joints leaking, front shocks look like they are leaking. Random wires sticking out and not connected?

6. $17.5 - reserve wasn't even met. They are smoking the good stuff!

Well at least the color is very appropriate to it being a lemon lol.

I found a contender for the Yellow LX. There is much to say about this one.
That poor AHC system with those bumpers. Wow. Those bumpers...

WWVA is in Denver, I bet you could go get a look at it haha! They used to be a block from my house, behind the Coke plant on York but they moved somewhere east of here a year or two ago.

Yeah, they moved to 40th and Forest. They have some cool stuff and to my surprise leave a lot of it parked outside.

Same when they were over here at Race & 37th. I’d be on my way home from work and see they left a mint Testerossa or whatever casually parallel parked in front of the building. Lots of cool stuff sitting outside all the time.

Who ever did the yellow Victory rig painted the door jams and part of the engine bay. Might be a legit paint job, just an odd color.
