This car has considerable rust. Underneath as well. This is not a good option for a full restoration per the pictures. This has been my local driver for the past year and somewhat of a doner car for a restoration of my 89 FJ62 in terms of some interior trim pieces etc. Local Denver sale/transaction only. Would like to sell before the holidays. Best offer gets it. Willing to negotiate. Please message with your phone number to discuss. THE GOOD Engine is strong, and truck starts up easy and immediately. New Tires: $900 Recent Work: $3,000 Overheating Issue solved Brake Booster fixed Transmission issue resolved All Signals and Brake Lights work No Cracks in Original Dashboard Power Windows work well THE MEDIUM - Dependent on taste Installed Driver and Passenger Leather Seats (May sell OEM seats separately or can negotiate etc) Rear Bench fabric painted black (have another OEM potentially to negotiate about as well) THE LESS GOOD Speedometer and Odometer are broken No Interior Door Panels/Cards (gave them to my 89) It's far from mint and perfect. The Catalytic Converter was stolen and it failed to pass smog earlier in year so is out of registration currently. Colorado Title in hand though.

Just posted a thread for this. I’m acquainted with the owner and said I’d throw it up here for him.
I have seen this one in person a few times and it has frame and body rot. But …. The seller REALLY wants his problem to go away, which leads me to believe he’d make a deal. He’s going out of town for a while Thursday and wants it gone by Wednesday and I have to think that is some serious leverage for a buyer.
Parts truck?
Rehab it for a beater-wheeler?
Put the 3FE in your 40?
Who knows, but if the price becomes “right” this might be an interesting truck for somebody. I have no horse in this race but I can provide the seller’s phone number. It’s in Denver near Alameda and Logan for what it’s worth.

Decided to sell the Surf. Love the rig but decided I need to drive something different for commuting to Englewood. I'd keep it but I already have way too many vehicles. $18k would be my RS bottom line price. I'll be way upside down at that number based on all the PM maintenance and tires but that's how it goes sometimes. I've had a ton of interest on FB but nobody serious. Come buy this...I need my garage parking space back!
A little on high end of miles, but current owner has had it 200k miles. If well taken care of this is a fair price. If it could be had closer to low $7’s I say it’s a good deal.
