It is in spring under config! When you lift past 3" on a 40 you need caster correction which tips your pinion down. The front I have had a cut and turn done so pinion angle was correct with good castor with 4"+ lift. So run 4" spring under now then if you go 5" spring over later the hard put has been done....just weld on perches to the top of the housing and go wheeling!

Made him an offer. What if he takes it?? Need to borrow a trailer and haul it back with my 80. Yank out the engine, tranny, tcase (use the tranny and tcase on my 40, keep the 2f for the next club member who needs it. Yank the axles and either use them on the 40 or hold on to them (maybe if I get the 40 in Billings...) then let Ige pick over the carcass.

Update: Looks like a stuck accelerator pump on the carb. Engine tries to fire up. If I can thaw it out and unstick it she will be running, likely by monday when the price will be $2395...



SO......if he turns the key and it starts, the price goes up $800? Sorry...$795. Especially when he has had no takers at $1600 for weeks...
